Strong Sisters SportsFest

Join us for giveaways, activities, experiences and information sessions to support positive women’s health in our community.’

On Sunday 5 March 2023 from 9am to 4pm, Orion Springfield Central will be partnering with the Strong Women documentary series and Ipswich City Council, tackling mental health and wellbeing among women in the community, through the Strong Sisters SportsFest event.

Local clubs and community groups will be serving up ‘come and try’ sporting experiences including an inflatable tennis court thanks to Springfield Central’s Baseline Tennis Coaching and self-defence demonstrations by Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Camira. These fun and engaging activities will be situated down Main St, amid the Springfield Markets, ensuring there are plenty of options to entertain every family member.
