SHANE Mallory is a local legend when it comes to theatre.
Shane has been performing since he was nine years old and has been actively involved in the Ipswich Performing Arts community.
During that time he had lead roles in many sell-out productions including One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest and Dial M for Murder.
He has also directed several equally successful shows including A Few Good Men and The 39 Steps.
He is an incredibly entertaining and engaging speaker, emcee, presenter and performer.
With a strong record of achieving results – he brings to the stage boundless energy, enthusiasm, and large servings of funny and relatable stories and humour to keep your crowd engaged while they learn from him.
Through story and content, Shane really makes sure that your audience learns while having a fantastic time.
So, it was not surprising and a bit exciting to see that Shane has scored one of the lead roles in the upcoming production of ‘Mother and Son’.
Shane has taken on the role of Robert, the usually scheming and deceiving but somewhat charming brother of Arthur.
Shane said that he couldn’t resist auditioning for a role in ‘Mother and Son’ as the ABC classic held so many childhood memories of sitting at home in front of the telly with all the family and constantly laughing at the hilarious antics of Maggie, Arthur, Robert and Liz.
Regarded by many as the best Australian comedy, you will love this hilarious, live version of Mother and Son.
Maggie gets up to her mischievous best, Arthur has a new girlfriend but Maggie has other plans and Robert is in trouble with Liz yet again.
Directed by Adrian Carr with a cast that includes Martie Blanchett as Maggie, Michael Lawrence as Arthur, El Campbell as Liz and Shane Mallory as Robert.
THIS production promises to have you rolling in your seats with laughter
