IT PROMISED to be the biggest event on the SPARK Festival program and The Little Day Out delivered.
Ipswich’s signature children’s contemporary music and arts festival maybe little by name but it now cementing a reputation to be big on fun.
Perfect weather on Sunday saw more than 3000 flock to the Ripley Town Centre for a day’s dancing and
songs.
Leading the way was the popular Regurgitators along with the Babushka trio.
The Regurgitator’s POGOGO show saw hundreds of kids storm the stage to produce their own kid’s mosh pit.
Ripley Town Centre was the Presenting Rights Partner for Little Day Out and was actively involved in the event through supporting Ipswich City Council across planning, delivery and execution.
A spokesman for the town centre said the workshops held in conjunction were at capacity and the trade for
their retailers was strong with a large number of attendees visiting from outside of the region.
“We are very proud of this event and are now looking to next year!”
