Dear Reader,

Recently we celebrated our 100th edition of Local Ipswich News and two years of bringing you the district news.

As we evolve, we are always looking at how we can improve your paper.

Each week we have been on the press by Monday night for the paper to be collected and distributed throughout the region on Wednesday morning.

This has meant that on some occasions we have been unable to fully cover news from the many weekend events in the district.

As such we have now moved our publishing date back a day so we can provide the latest information.

Our April 27 edition is a perfect example of what this means as without this new deadline we would not have been able to cover ANZAC Day events.

The new deadline will see your Local Ipswich News now hit the paper stands across the region from Thursday morning.

We trust you support our move which we believe is another positive step in our journey.

Thanks for all your support.
