THE 13th annual Ladies Fours Carnival at the United Ladies Bowls Club saw a big contingent of bowlers converge on East Ipswich.

This year 16 clubs were represented from Bribie Island , Sunshine Coast, Logan City, Brisbane District, Chermside, Cleveland, players the Cunningham District and locals from Ipswich, Lowood, and Esk.

In all 104 players competed providing a good boost for the local economy with many competitors staying overnight.

The United Ladies, the Sports Club and Phillip, Sel and Peter worked non-stop to ensure the carnival’s reputation was further enhanced.
