PLAY will never be the same again if Area 51’s plan to build its new centre in Bundamba gets the green light.

The potential Hume Drive development will be similar to the existing one in Logan, where the centre is complemented by night markets. Area 51 has seen the opportunity in Ipswich because with the recent growth in population there’s massive demand for children’s entertainment.

The developer described the play centre a “unique value offering for the six to 16-year-old market segment”. On top of that, the offering to older clients will include a food court, sport and education centres.

The centre is set to have rockclimbing facilities including “bouldering’, a trampoline park, high ropes course, multistorey playground, mega-slides and multipurpose sports courts. There would also be a Snow World, resembling real-life snow play.
