THE Lowood Early Education Centre received a boost this past week with the opening of a new Kindergarten Hub.

Two brand-new kindy rooms will meet the growing demand of the local community.

The hub will accommodate 44 children and it’s looking great.

Last week the kindy held two open days for parents to come and see what is on offer.

Centre manager Tracey Siekai was excited by the response the centre received.

She said, “They were able to see first-hand how our educators are fostering a free-flowing environment that encourages children to become confident and resilient learners.”

A flash new kindy hub sounds like it will hurt the hip pocket but there’s good news for Lowood parents who have tight budgets.

Ms Siekai explained, “Families who choose to enrol at Lowood from 1 January 2024 will be able to access the Queensland Government Free Kindy program.”
