CMC Rocks will return to Ipswich for its 18th edition next year after playing host to over 23,000 music lovers earlier this month.

Returning to Willowbank Raceway from Friday 21 to Sunday 23 March 2025, the festival promises to deliver another incredible line-up of artists.

The southern hemisphere’s largest country music festival continues to get glowing endorsements from headline acts such as Australian Idol alumni and ARIA Award-winner Casey Barnes who told Local Ipswich News that CMC Rocks was a highlight of the music calendar.

“For any Aussie country artist, CMC Rocks is the one festival you want to be part of,” he said.

“It doesn’t get any bigger and it’s always the most incredible event to be part of!

“Our set this year was one of my favourites of my entire career and it’s so great to see festivals like this one thriving in Queensland.”

Ipswich City Council Chief Executive Officer Sonia Cooper said she was delighted that CMC Rocks is returning to the region in 2025, promising to be a huge drawcard for country music fans from Ipswich, interstate and internationally.

“Council is proud to continue as a supporter of live music,”Ms Cooper said.

“It injects around $11 million dollars into the local Ipswich economy each year. “

This year’s weekend long event saw performances from some of the world’s finest local and international chart-toppers Lainey Wilson, Tyler Hubbard and Chris Young, Morgan Wade, Megan Moroney, Casey Barnes and Cooper Alan.
