IPSWICH has been the home of netball for the past two weeks, showcasing the talents of a range of nations as part of the Enuamanu Atiu Nui Maruarua Association of Qld – Challenge of The Nations Netball Tournament.

Limestone Park played host to crowds of people who had come to watch and play across the tournament.

Nine nations were represented at the tournament in Indigenous Australia, Cook Islands, Fiji, Māori, Niue, PNG, Samoa, Tahiti, and Tonga.

To open the event the nine nations put on a spectacular cultural display to entertain guests.

Last Saturday the sun was shining across the city making for a perfect ending to an event that was founded on inclusivity and showing Ipswich as the proud sport and multicultural city it is.
