THE LAIDLEY Mulgowie Bluedogs claimed their seventh title in 17 seasons, defeating the Lockyer Valley Vikings in the 1st Division One Day Final at Baxter Oval.
Laidley posted a solid 8/273, with Dan Wilson (79) and Anthony Wilson (61) leading the charge.
The Vikings, however, struggled in their chase and were bowled out for just 86.
Ezekiel Kugel was the star for Laidley, taking an outstanding six wickets for 33 runs.
In a thrilling 1st Grade match, the Ipswich Hornets mounted a remarkable comeback to beat the Gold Coast.
After being dismissed for just 137 in their first innings, Ipswich resumed their second innings at 2/43 and reached a commanding 7/330.
Jack Wood was the hero, blasting 120 runs off 102 balls, supported by brother Harry Wood (79) and Harry Sheppard (33n/o).
Gold Coast was bowled out for 116 in response, with Jem Ryan taking key wickets.
The South East Redbacks claimed their second 2nd Division One Day title in 12 years, defeating Laidley Mulgowie.
Laidley was bowled out for 132, and the Redbacks chased down the target in just 20 overs, finishing at 4/134.
Luke Griesbach’s unbeaten 50 guided them to victory, while Jasbir Singh took 3/6 with the ball.
In the 3rd Division, Springfield Lions triumphed over Fassifern in a high-scoring affair.
Laidley Mulgowie also secured a comfortable win in Division 4, beating Strollers Blue.
