TRAINER Tom Tzouvelis reinforced his status as one of the region’s premier trainers on Thursday night, producing a commanding four-win haul at Q2 Parklands.

The night began in predictable fashion when Soiree ($1.20 favourite) delivered comfortably in the opener, extending her tidy record to three wins and two placings from six starts over the 520m.

The Zak Monelli × Shishkin youngster showed her trademark early pace and was never threatened.

Race four brought the upset of the evening as She’s Saintly stunned her rivals with a polished all-round performance at $11, toppling hot favourite Cody’s Star ($2), who settled for second.

Tzouvelis’s momentum continued when Zipping Choi ($1.50) made it two wins on the bounce in his 19th outing, holding off Veracious Val by half a length in a tidy performance.

The finale to the trainer’s quartet came in the standout run of the meeting.

Rising talent Zipping Kravitz, starting favourite in her first look at the Q2 Parklands 520m, extended her astonishing strike rate with a four-length win.

Blocker Tiger made a winning return to the Q straight, justifying his short $1.30 quote with a faultless display in the fifth-grade heat.

Jumping cleanly from box two, the Steve Neary-trained sprinter pinged the lids and immediately set up the race, stretching out over the 350m to score with authority.

Blocker Tiger powered away to win by six lengths, with Hey Jack holding down second and Bexley filling the minor placing.

The victory marks his first since October 23 – also down the Purga 350m straight.

Goldstar Prada has stretched her winning streak to three with a dazzling come-from-behind triumph in the night’s staying feature at Q2 Parklands.

The $1.40 favourite made things interesting early, missing the start and settling at the tail of the field.

But the Federal Morgan × Goldstar Journey stayer quickly recovered, railing sharply to stay in touch before angling wide on the final bend and unleashing a powerful finishing burst.

The win continues her strong affinity with the 710m trip at Q2 Parklands.
