THE ground will shake and the engines will roar when some of the biggest machines shaping Springfield Rise roll into Spring Mountain for a free community Monster Machine Day on June 20.
Families will have the rare chance to get up close to giant dozers, excavators, dump trucks and water trucks during the interactive family event hosted by Stockland, showcasing a fleet of large-scale construction machinery currently being used to help deliver new stages of the growing Springfield Rise community.
Springfield Rise continues to experience strong local demand, with almost 44 per cent of enquiries currently coming from within the Springfield 4300 postcode.
Stockland Senior Development Manager Katie Cullen said the event aimed to give families a behind-the-scenes look at the machinery helping shape the community, while also creating a fun and engaging experience for children.
“Monster Machine Day is all about bringing the community together and giving families the chance to experience these incredible machines in a safe and interactive environment,” Ms Cullen said.
Alongside the giant machinery displays, the free event will also feature roving entertainment, food and coffee vans and goodie bags for children.
The day will run from 10.30am to 2.30pm on June 20 at the end of West Hill Ave, Spring Mountain.
