Australia’s next breakout children’s television series or family film could be just one pitch away, with some of the world’s biggest broadcasters, studios and distributors heading to Coffs Harbour this August in search of fresh local talent.

Applications have opened for the 2026 Exclusive Content Pitch, one of the headline events of the Australian Children’s Content Summit, giving Australian creators the rare opportunity to present their projects directly to senior industry executives actively looking for new animation, live-action series and family feature films.

Held during the Australian Children’s Content Summit from August 24 to 27 at Pacific Bay Resort, the initiative connects emerging and established creators with broadcasters, streaming platforms, distributors, investors and production companies from Australia and overseas.

This year’s marketplace expands further with Animal Logic Entertainment joining the lineup for the first time.

Executives representing ABC, ABC Commercial, Australian Children’s Television Foundation, FNX Television, Mediacorp, Minderoo Pictures, Nine Network Australia, NITV, Odin’s Eye Entertainment, Sesame Workshop, Hooligan Animation, Tiger Aspect Kids & Family, TVOKids and VIVA Pictures will also be attending.

Applications close at midnight on July 15, with successful projects to be showcased during the Australian Children’s Content Summit from August 24 to 27 in Coffs Harbour.
