CALL TEAM: Zak Caban and Anthony Breeze from West Bremer Radio Sport and David Nugent from Rugby League Ipswich will be calling the Rugby League Ipswich Finals series.
Rugby League Ipswich and West Bremer Media are teaming up to bring unparalleled access to the Final Series of the ACS Group A Grade Premiership.
Starting on Saturday, August 20 all games will be live streamed on both West Bremer’s radio and through a subscription streaming service.
West Bremer Media Manager, Bradley Clarke, said it was an exciting opportunity to bring grass roots local league to a wider audience.
“We are covering the match with a three camera outside broadcast unit which will capture all the action” he said.
“Our commentary team, headed up by Anthony “Bomber” Breeze, and local footy identity Dave Nugent, will add the professional knowledge to the broadcasts so that fans don’t miss a thing.”
RLI Chair Dane McQueen said there is always a lot of interest in the RLI finals each year from fans and families living remotely or even abroad. This is a way of ensuring those fans could watch or listen to the games no matter where they are.”
All ACS Group A Grade Semi Finals and Finals will be broadcast on West Bremer Radio, and the television stream will be viewable online for a small charge.
