THE new Ripley Central State Primary School will open for students from Prep to Year 6 for the start of 2023, ensuring world class educational facilities to support one of the fastest growing areas of the state.
State Member for Ipswich, Jennifer Howard, said she was excited for the first day of Term 1 next year when new students and their families would walk into a terrific new learning centre in the Ripley community.
“We know many families are choosing to make the Ripley Valley their home because it is such a wonderful part of Queensland and I’m so proud to be part of a government that invests in the services that Queenslanders need for a great lifestyle,” she said
“This school will fill a gap in one of the fastest growing areas in the state by providing places for around 1,200 students when fully complete.
“Ripley Central State School will include an administration building, prep and junior learning spaces, resource centre, multi-purpose hall, canteen, car parking, amenities, and an oval, providing excellent educational facilities to the community.
“It also has almost 10ha next door for future expansions. “Foundation Principal Wuanita Meyrick has been working hard on the setup for the school and when it opens it will provide the children of Ripley with a word class education centre.”
This school is one of two getting built in Ipswich City with another nearing completion in Augustine Height, to be known as Woogaroo Creek State School.
