ONE of the Scenic Rim’s most distinctive luxury tourism retreats has hit the market, with the owners of Nightfall preparing to hand over the wilderness escape they have spent more than a decade building from the ground up.
Nestled beside Lamington National Park on 105.1 hectares at Christmas Creek, Lamington, Nightfall has established itself as a high-end eco-tourism destination, attracting couples and travellers looking to disappear into the Scenic Rim wilderness without leaving luxury behind.
Now co-owners Stephen Ross and Jaide Adermann are preparing for retirement, putting the property and tourism business on the market after transforming what was once little more than an old 1980s shed on a secluded parcel of land.
The property is being marketed by Ray White Rural Queensland agents Peter Douglas and Jason Mattiazzi, with expressions of interest closing on October 30.
Mr Douglas said opportunities to acquire an established tourism operation in such a location were exceptionally rare.
“Nightfall isn’t just a piece of land with a couple of tents; it’s a decade of established goodwill, infrastructure, brand equity, and sustainable luxury in one of Queensland’s most sought-after eco-tourism corridors,” Mr Douglas said.
About 90 minutes from Brisbane and the Gold Coast, Nightfall directly adjoins Lamington National Park, placing guests on the doorstep of one of Queensland’s best-known natural landscapes.
The sale includes the land, guest accommodation, operational infrastructure, brand assets, booking systems and digital presence, effectively offering a new owner the chance to take over the established operation.
