Keytech Intelligence is an Ipswich-founded, Australian veteran-owned technology company specialising in sovereign artificial intelligence, secure software development, cybersecurity and intelligent business automation.
Founded by two Australian Defence Force veterans, Luke Lispet (Chief Executive Officer) and Shaune Irving (Chief Technology Officer), the business was established with a shared ambition: to develop practical Australian technology that solves complex problems while protecting the sensitive information businesses and their customers depend upon.
The journey began in the veteran advocacy sector, where we recognised significant opportunities to improve how complex medical records, service histories and supporting evidence were reviewed and processed.
Rather than relying on existing software, we invested in developing our own technology, Valour Keystone, to assist advocates with document analysis, evidence identification and administrative workflows.
BRINGING SOVEREIGN AI TO BUSINESS
One of our most significant achievements has been establishing a strategic partnership with Macquarie Cloud Services, part of the ASX-listed Macquarie Technology Group.
Macquarie Technology Group is an Australian-owned technology organisation providing cloud services, cybersecurity, telecommunications and sovereign data centre infrastructure to Australian businesses and government.
For Keytech Intelligence, this relationship represents far more than a traditional technology hosting arrangement. It provides access to the Australian sovereign cloud infrastructure and specialist expertise needed to develop and deliver secure AI solutions for small businesses, medium-sized organisations and enterprise customers.
As artificial intelligence becomes increasingly common in business, one of the most important questions is what happens to the information organisations provide to these systems.
For businesses handling legal documents, financial records, medical information or commercially sensitive material, understanding where that information is stored, where it is processed and who can access it is critical.
Our relationship with Macquarie Cloud Services allows Keytech Intelligence to develop solutions using Australian-hosted infrastructure, with sovereign AI deployment options designed to keep sensitive data and AI processing within Australia.
Our belief is that a small professional services firm should have the opportunity to access the same standard of secure technology infrastructure as a much larger organisation.
THE NEXT CHAPTER – KEYTECH CORE
We are now preparing to introduce Keytech Core, our next-generation AI business platform.
Core is being developed to help organisations connect their existing business software, internal knowledge and administrative workflows through a secure, intelligent operating environment.
Importantly, we are designing Core with configurable security, data residency and AI deployment options so organisations can select an environment suited to their operational and regulatory requirements.
On October 30, Keytech Intelligence will be a Platinum Sponsor of the Lawyers Weekly LawTech: AI Summit in Sydney, where we will be unveiling Keytech Core to the Australian legal technology industry.
It is an exciting milestone for a business that began here in Ipswich.
RECOGNITION AND LOCAL PRIDE
Receiving the 2026 Ipswich Region Emerging Business Award was an incredibly proud moment for our founders and our team.
Today, Keytech Intelligence has six Australian-based developers, AI engineers and security specialists working to build technology that we believe can compete on a national stage.
WHAT WE WOULD LIKE READERS TO KNOW
Our story is ultimately about two Australian veterans who identified a problem, believed they could develop a better solution and backed themselves to build it.
We believe regional Queensland businesses can develop technology with national relevance, and we are proud to be building that capability from Ipswich.
