ABC iview’s Reunion: A Gripping Crime Drama Series
SHARE

ABC iview has unveiled its latest crime drama, Reunion, a compelling four-part series that delves into themes of redemption, revenge, and the complexities of familial bonds.

The series centres on Daniel Brennan, portrayed by Matthew Gurney, a deaf man recently released from prison after serving a decade-long sentence for murder.

Upon his release, Brennan is driven by a singular goal: to seek vengeance. However, his plans take an unexpected turn when he reconnects with his estranged daughter, Carly, played by Lara Peake.

Created by William Mager, Reunion offers a unique perspective by focusing on a protagonist navigating the challenges of reintegration into society while grappling with personal demons.

The narrative explores Brennan’s struggle to reconcile his past actions with his desire for retribution, all while attempting to rebuild a fractured relationship with his daughter.

The series boasts a talented ensemble cast, including Anne-

Marie Duff as Christine, a character determined to uncover the truth about Brennan’s past, and Eddie Marsan as Stephen Renworth, Christine’s protective partner.

Rose Ayling-Ellis also features as Miri, adding depth to the intricate web of relationships depicted in the show.

Reunion has garnered attention for its authentic representation of the deaf community and its exploration of the protagonist’s internal and external conflicts.

The series challenges viewers to consider the complexities of justice, forgiveness, and the enduring impact of past choices.

All four episodes of Reunion are now available to stream on ABC iview, with the series also airing on ABC TV.
