Ace Computer World, owned by husband-and-wife team Noel and Janet Roberts, celebrates its 25th anniversary this year.

Founded on February 2, 2000, their store has grown from humble beginnings to a respected name in the community, built on a foundation of hard work, dedication, and a genuine passion for serving customers.
Starting at 59 Brisbane St, Ace Computer World expanded to larger premises at 75 Brisbane St, and in 2022 flooding events necessitated a move to Shop 28, Yamanto Shopping Village, where Ace Computer World continues to thrive today.

The Roberts family has always been at the heart of the business, with son Brad returning in 2021 to play a significant role in its continued growth, which has seen the addition of a Cartridge World Agency, expanding their ink and toner offerings.

Plus Brad brought his passion for gaming to the store, establishing Wargaming Agency Ipswich, a haven for Warhammer enthusiasts, and lately collaborating with salesperson Jordan to introduce Ace Trading Card Games.

In 2025, they launched Ace Computer Recycling to repurpose used parts through their new eBay store and responsibly recycle any electronic components that cannot be reused.

Through tenacity, expansions and their commitment to adapting to the ever-changing tech landscape,

Ace Computer World has weathered economic and political shifts plus two catastrophic flood events, consistently finding ways to survive no matter the obstacles placed before them.

Janet said: “We have always prioritised customer satisfaction and believe in treating every customer like family, building long-term relationships and finding solutions which has been key to our success.

“We have earned a well-deserved reputation for honesty and integrity, consistently going the extra mile to meet customer needs.”

Noel and Janet are immensely proud to be a part of the thriving Ipswich community and look forward to many more years of serving their valued customers.

Ace Computer World is located at Shop 28, Yamanto Shopping Village, 512-514 Warwick Rd, Yamanto and can be contacted on 07 3812 3900, visited on their website acecomputerworld.com.au, or via their Facebook page.
