CLEAR blue sky, warm sun and more than a thousand Fords glinting in the car park, that’s the kind of morning that puts everyone in a good mood, and it’s exactly how All Ford Day kicked off at Willowbank Raceway last weekend.
By mid-morning the grounds had turned into a rolling museum on wheels.
The real fun was in the details. Owners swapping stories over open bonnets, kids hoisted up for a better look at a GTHO, old mates picking up conversations like no time had passed.
The swap meet kept the buzz going too, tables piled with parts, badges and workshop manuals for anyone chasing that one last piece for a project.
Then the Fords hit the track and the fence line filled up fast. Cruisers, drag cars, the lot, all having a run down the strip while the crowd cheered them on.
Nobody was counting times, they were just soaking up the noise and the smiles from drivers climbing out grinning ear to ear.
That’s really what made the day. Full car park, busy swap meet, a track buzzing all day, and grins wherever you looked.
Great for Willowbank, great for Ipswich, and a solid reminder of why the Ford faithful keep coming back year after year.
