BELLBIRD Park State Secondary College has capped an undefeated campaign by claiming the Karyn Murphy Cup championship in a thrilling grand final victory.
The Bellbird Park girls completed a perfect run through the competition with a 20-14 win over St Joseph’s College in the decider, securing the title after an impressive campaign built on skill, teamwork and resilience.
The school celebrated the achievement, praising the players for the pride they showed representing Bellbird Park State Secondary College throughout the competition.
The grand final proved a fitting finish to an unbeaten campaign, with the team holding its nerve to secure the six-point victory and lift the trophy.
The school also acknowledged the coaches and staff who supported the players throughout their successful campaign.
The Karyn Murphy Cup provides an opportunity for schoolgirls to showcase their rugby league talent, with Bellbird Park now adding its name to the competition’s list of champions – undefeated throughout the competition.
