THIS year’s Mother’s Day was extra special for our family as we celebrated at The Blue Fin Fishing Club, nestled in the heart of Inala.

The buffet breakfast served up a delicious spread – hot breakfast favourites, fresh pastries, seasonal fruit and a variety of drinks to suit every taste.

What began as a casual family outing quickly turned into the discovery of a true hidden gem right in our own backyard – a venue that seamlessly combines great food, warm hospitality and a genuine sense of community.

What sets The Blue Fin Fishing Club apart is its unique blend of tradition, family values and unwavering commitment to the local community.

It’s not just a club – it’s a community hub where everyone feels welcome, whether you’re a long-time member or a first-time visitor.

From the moment you walk in, you’re met with friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere.

With spacious dining areas, a relaxed bistro, and regular live entertainment, the club offers something for everyone – whether you’re celebrating a milestone or enjoying a casual mid-week meal.

But The Blue Fin is more than just events and meals – it has a heart for giving back.

Every Tuesday night, the club hosts its popular Community Night, where $5 from every main meal over $15.50 is donated to a selected local organisation.

It’s not just a fundraiser – it’s a night of local pride and purpose.

At the end of the night, the total raised is presented to the group to help support their ongoing work.

As a non-profit organisation, every dollar the Club earns is reinvested into improving facilities, supporting the sport of fishing and enhancing its community outreach.

The Club’s guiding philosophy is simple yet powerful: serve the members and serve the community.

This vision is visible in everything it does – from fundraising and facility upgrades, to creating a safe, inclusive space for families to gather and connect.

The Blue Fin Fishing Club stands out for its authenticity, generosity and community spirit.

The Blue Fin Fishing Club is located at 24 Lilac St, Inala. The bistro is open weekdays for lunch (11.30am-2pm), weekends from 11.30am-5.30pm, and for dinner on Tuesday and Wednesday nights from 5.30-8pm.
