FOLLOWING the success of its six-week pop-up last December, Creative Hearts Co. has officially opened the doors to its permanent art gallery and creativity hub in the heart of Greater Springfield.
Located at 7006 Melaleuca Drive, Brookwater, the new venue is more than just a gallery.
It is a dedicated space designed to inspire creativity, foster connection, and welcome people of all ages and backgrounds into a supportive creative community.
Co-founder Hue Kedge said the venue’s purpose extended well beyond exhibiting art.
“This isn’t just an art gallery– it’s a place where people feel seen, heard and valued,” she said.
“Art is the starting point, but what we’re really creating is a space for community, connection, growth and belonging.”
The Brookwater venue, formerly a sales office, has been transformed into a light-filled, boutique space with wheelchair access, private parking and a curated feature wall showcasing local artists.
The team also has plans to activate the outdoor area with community gardens, seating, and creative installations that extend the gallery experience into nature.
“The space already had great bones – but now it has heart,” said co-founder Sean Ferguson.
“We’ve transformed it into somewhere people feel good just being in – and there’s still so much more to come.”
Creative Hearts Co. was co-founded by local residents Hue Kedge, Sean Ferguson and Marie Ferguson as a grassroots initiative with a social enterprise model at its core.
Thanks to generous support from Springfield City Group, that vision has become reality.
The permanent space will host rotating exhibitions, artist talks, creative business events and inclusive workshops for all ages and skills.
