USUALLY heading to Brothers Leagues Club with friends when they are in town, this time for a change of pace I took the family, and once again zero there were complaints about service and meals that always exceed expectations.

I have said it a thousand times, but I have never had a bad meal there, and last Friday night did not change that.

My parents tried the Meal of the Month and the Southern Fried Chicken Burger so we will start with those two meals.

The latter is bacon, lettuce, cheese coated with aioli between two buns and becomes an instant favourite.

The Meal of the Month was BBQ Pork Spare Ribs with Chips, Slaw and served with Corn Bread. Very filling and juicy.

Another thing I have said before about Brothers, but I will be saying it again, the steaks are where it is at!

On this occasion, I ordered the Augustus Grainfed Porterhouse 300gm medium rare with red jus sauce and WOWWWW – do yourself a favour and give it a go when you are there next.

With meats that come from a Stanbroke Feedlot from my home town of Chinchilla – it comes cooked to your request and will please your tastebuds like any well-prepared steak should.

Next time you are at Brothers be sure to become a member, as you will be returning for the great experience that blends one-of-a-kind service and a menu that will satisfy all.

Value for money is on the menu without being undercut on quality.

The menu caters to all ages, with special Seniors and Wee Leprechauns menus in the newly renovated Shamrocks Restaurant.

So, grab a membership, join the Brothers Family and head down to Wildey St, Raceview where orders are up 11.30am-2pm Monday to Sunday for lunch and 5.30-8.30pm for dinner.
