More than 360 local business people came together on Saturday night to celebrate the achievements of Ipswich region businesses at the 2026 Business Excellence Awards, hosted by the Ipswich Region Chamber of Commerce.
Held at the Ipswich Showgrounds, the annual awards celebrated businesses and business leaders across 15 categories, recognising excellence, sustainability, community contribution and outstanding achievement across the Ipswich region.
And in keeping with this year’s authenticity and confidence theme, the evening had plenty of personality, with guests embracing the disco theme for a night of celebration, connection and dancing.
“The Business Excellence Awards are about celebrating the people behind our local businesses and recognising the contribution they make to the strength and success of our region,” Chamber President David Wiltshire said.
“Every finalist should be incredibly proud of what they have achieved. To see more than 360 local business people come together to celebrate each other’s success is a great reflection of the strength and diversity of our business community.
“Our 120th anniversary year has been an opportunity to reflect on the Chamber’s long history of supporting Ipswich businesses, but also to look ahead to the future.”
The awards were held as part of the Ipswich Region Chamber of Commerce’s 120th anniversary year, with the Chamber acknowledging the contribution of the event’s sponsors and partners.
The 2026 Business Excellence Awards form part of the Chamber’s ongoing work to support local business.
