SPRINGFIELD Lakes families have a new place to slide, climb and explore following the completion of playground upgrades at the popular Grande Park.
The revitalised playground on Grande Ave features a new mountain slide, natural play elements and landscaping, with further improvements including shade sails planned in coming months.
Ipswich Deputy Mayor and Division 2 Councillor Nicole Jonic said the project had refreshed an important community space for local families.
The upgrade replaced the park’s previous mound and slides, which had reached the end of their usable life.
