The City of Ipswich came alive as thousands of residents joined together to see the Anzac Day main march work its way through the city centre.

Commemorating the day that means so much to everybody, while remembering all who have served and all who have died across all conflicts.

For the second year in a row, the march took the same route after being so heavily attended last year, covering the length of the city centre.

The march began at the junction of Brisbane and Waghorn Streets and ended in Tulmur Place, giving everybody the chance to see the procession that included defence vehicles, schools, marching bands and even two camels from the Army 26 TPT squadron.

Dawn services were held at Brassall, Bundamba, Goodna, the RSL Memorial Gardens, Redbank Plains and Rosewood, with the city paying its respects at 10 marches across 17 locations.
