A CAPACITY crowd packed the Ipswich Showgrounds for Bull-O-Rama, the Ipswich Show Society’s first major event of 2025.

Spectators witnessed an adrenaline-fueled night as fearless riders faced off against some of the country’s toughest bulls.

The excitement didn’t stop in the arena, with an after-party featuring rising country music star Riley Young keeping the energy alive.

Beyond the action, the event offered family-friendly attractions, including cane toad racing, gourmet food trucks, market stalls, a licensed bar and amusement rides.

Show Society President Darren Zanow celebrated the event’s success.

“This event draws people from near and far, providing an incredible opportunity for families and friends to come together for a night of fun and entertainment,” Mr Zanow said.

More than 68 riders competed, with champions crowned across several divisions.

James Chaille won the novice title, Jackson Ramsay and Riley Merrill shared the U18 junior title, Clay Gill took the U15 mini category, and Archie Geran secured the U12 mini victory.

The Ipswich Show Society is now gearing up for its next major event – the All-Round Rodeo on Saturday, July 26.

The competition will feature opportunities for both novice and junior riders.

Tickets will be available soon at ipswichshow.com.au.
