IPSWICH is set for a big start to the year, with two crowd-favourite events returning to the Ipswich Showgrounds in the coming months, offering adrenaline, entertainment and family-friendly fun for all ages.

The action kicks off with Bull-O-Rama on Saturday, bringing an adrenaline-fuelled night of elite bull riding to the city.

The event will see fearless cowboys take on some of the country’s toughest and most unpredictable bulls in a high-impact spectacle that delivers edge-of-your-seat excitement from start to finish.

Tickets for Bull-O-Rama are now on sale, with general admission priced at $30, aged concession tickets at $25 and children aged 5 to 15 years admitted for $15, while children aged 0 to 4 years enter free.

A family pass, including two general admission tickets and two children’s tickets, is available for $65.

Organisers are encouraging fans to secure tickets early, with the event traditionally attracting strong crowds.

Following closely is the return of one of Ipswich’s most popular community events, the Twilight Carnival, set to take over the Ipswich Showgrounds on Saturday, March 7.

Running from 4-9pm, the carnival will offer a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere with a Rockabilly and Retro theme, making it a perfect evening out for families and friends.

The Twilight Carnival will feature a wide range of attractions, including a Pin-Up Parade, rock and roll dancing, a Show and Shine car display, classic carnival rides and games in Side Show Alley, as well as food trucks, a licensed bar and market stalls showcasing arts, crafts and pre-loved items.

Entry to the Twilight Carnival is just $5 for general admission, with children aged 12 and under free, ensuring the event remains accessible for everyone.
