THE Laidley Mulgowie Bluedogs Division 1 team has strengthened its position as ladder leader in the seven-team Jets League Club First Division Competition.

With three wins, two losses, and two byes, the Bluedogs sit at the top of the table on 62.6 points as the competition heads into its final four rounds.

In a dominant Round 11 performance, the Bluedogs secured a commanding victory over Central Districts at Limestone Park.

Batting first, Laidley Mulgowie piled on 9/309 in its 50 overs.

Star batter Noah Emmerson delivered a masterclass, smashing 152 runs off just 114 balls, including eight boundaries and a remarkable 11 sixes.

Jared Adamski then led the Bluedogs’ bowling attack, taking five wickets and dismantling Central Districts’ top and middle order.

His haul included dismissals of Harry Dobson (11), Jacob Anderson (8), and two players dismissed for ducks.

Central Districts managed just 150 in reply, falling well short of the target.

In the other Division 1 match, the Lockyer Valley Vikings claimed a six-wicket win over Northsiders at Keith Sternberg Oval.

Chasing a modest 116, the Vikings reached 4/117 in just 24 overs, thanks to a score of 43 not out from Shanley Neuendorf.

Bowlers Liam Bichel and Regan Hoger each took three wickets to secure the win.

Brothers and Thunder had the bye for the round.

The Division 2 competition also delivered exciting matches in Round 11.

The South East Redbacks defeated the Strollers by 74 runs at Redbank Plains Reserve.

Batting first, the Redbacks posted 9/184, with Jarid Greisbach (58) and Taylor Peach (52) leading the charge.

Jasber Singh starred with the ball, taking three wickets, including dismissals of Shaurya Sheth (0) and Jamie Reid (6).

At Bichel Oval, the Laidley Mulgowie Bulldogs secured a dominant win over Centrals Kookaburras, posting 8/225 before bowling out their opponents for just 118.
