THE Brisbane Lions’ AFLW team lit up more than just the field over the weekend, with Saturday’s Diwali Festival celebration turning the stadium into a hub of colour, culture and community spirit.

Fans of all ages came together, enjoying the perfect mix of football action and festive cheer.

Before the first bounce, the stadium buzzed with excitement as families explored stalls offering traditional treats, artisans displayed rangoli designs, and performers filled the air with music and dance.

Children tried their hand at cultural activities, while fans of all ages posed for photos, with vibrant decorations creating a true sense of shared celebration.
