IT TAKES dedication and professionalism to maintain and grow any business over a short period let alone over 23 years.

Steve and Jaye Mallet have achieved just that with Choices Flooring by Mallets establishing a business that’s become Ipswich’s leading private and commercial flooring enterprise.

Their efforts haven’t gone unnoticed and recently they were recognised for their achievements with two major awards.

The inaugural Australian Trades Small Business Champion Awards saw Mallets recognised nationally.

The Australian Trades Small Business Champion Awards is a prestigious and comprehensive program that supports and recognises small businesses operating in trades sectors across Australia.

The awards seek to acknowledge the hard work that trade business owners contribute to the local community and their commitment to the Australian economy.

Mallets was a finalist in the category of Excellence in Carpet and Floor laying.

Steve was also selected as a finalist in Small Business Champion Trades Entrepreneur.

“We’re very proud and humbled to be a local Ipswich company that’s won something of this nature,” Steve said.

“We’ve been servicing the Ipswich region for 23 years now so just to be nominated in a stature of this big is a humbling and rewarding moment for us.

“We want to try and encourage other modern organisations to bring their businesses to Ipswich, and hopefully our success shows other people that Ipswich is a strong society and economy and if you run them the right way, through loyalty to the local community, you’ll be supported back in return.”

Choices Flooring by Mallets stock commercial flooring and provide commercial flooring contractors for installation.

Customers are invited to visit their showroom or call to arrange an obligation free measure and quote.

Choices Flooring provides inspiration and flooring advice whilst also managing the installation of carpet, laminate, timber, luxury vinyl, and bamboo flooring to Rosewood, Willowbank, Fernvale, Peak Crossing, and surrounding suburbs.

They also have the Mood Collection Window Furnishing range in stock. Choose from panel glide blinds,

Roman blinds, Venetian blinds, Roller blinds, Vertical blinds, honey cell blinds or plantation shutters – whatever your dream blinds are, they’ve got you covered.
