FOOD fans can mark their calendars – MasterChef Australia is officially returning at 7pm Sunday, April 19 on Network 10.

The long-running cooking competition is back for its 18th season, bringing a fresh batch of amateur cooks into the iconic kitchen, all vying for culinary stardom.

This season promises plenty of star power. Guest appearances include food icons like Maggie Beer, Curtis Stone, Adriano Zumbo, and Rick Stein, alongside returning favourite Justine Schofield.

Adding a twist, a mix of celebrities and social media creators will also step into the kitchen for the first time, including Robert Irwin and Jimmy Barnes, who will experience the competition from the inside.

After a competitive audition process, 24 home cooks have been selected to compete, with producers promising a season filled with “captivating contestants, glittering guests, joyous judges and sparkling challenges.”
