Mater Private Hospital Springfield’s leadership team was recently recognised for excellence in delivering quality clinical outcomes and patient care for the Greater Springfield community.

The team received the prestigious Clinical Excellence (Team) Award at the Mater People Awards in acknowledgement of its efforts in caring for the 12,500 patients admitted at the facility over the past year.

Mater Health executive director Paul Darcy said the team’s commitment to improving access to quality healthcare in the Greater Springfield area was to be commended. “Greater Springfield is a rapidly growing community, with evolving health care needs, and Mater’s Springfield leadership team has been unwavering in its efforts to ensure these needs are met,” Mr Darcy said. “They’ve been innovative, resilient and responsive in achieving excellent patient outcomes, particularly in pressure injury and fall prevention.”
