COMMUNITY leaders and residents gathered at Club Parkview last week for the launch breakfast of West Moreton Health Foundation’s Men’s Health Month, rallying support for improved health outcomes for men across the region.

The event brought together members of the public, councillors and local advocates who are ready to step up for men’s health and, as the campaign motto encourages, “have balls for men’s health”.

Guest speaker Jeff Dunn, Deputy Board Chair of West Moreton Health, delivered a keynote address highlighting the importance of early intervention, awareness and community support in tackling men’s health issues.

Attendees heard about the vital work carried out by the foundation to support patients and health services throughout the West Moreton region.

The breakfast also proved a successful fundraiser, with $2385 raised to help the foundation continue its support to the local community.
