SEVEN is raising the stakes in renovation television with its new 2026 series, My Reno Rules, promising the largest prize pool in Australian TV history.
Backed by billionaire entrepreneur Adrian Portelli, the series will culminate in two fully renovated homes being handed to unsuspecting Australian families.
Hosted by Chris Brown, familiar to viewers from Dream Home, the show follows four teams of everyday Australians as they transform two neighbouring rundown properties in a Melbourne suburb.
Contestants will face time-sensitive challenges and high-stakes decisions, all under the scrutiny of a star-studded judging panel: former The Block judge Neale Whitaker, buyer’s agent Simon Cohen (Dream Home and Luxe Listings Sydney), and interior stylist Julia Green of Greenhouse Interiors.
In a live grand finale, not only will the contestants’ efforts be rewarded, but two lucky Australian families will walk away with the fully renovated, furnished, and landscaped homes – a surprise that elevates the competition beyond the traditional reality TV prize.
Produced by Endemol Shine Australia and distributed globally by Banijay Rights, My Reno Rules is Seven’s latest attempt to capture the nation’s love for renovation shows, following previous efforts including Dream Home and House Rules.
While no premiere date has been announced, the series is expected to air after Australian Idol on Seven and 7plus.
