POWERCRUISE Number 91 finally arrived and you could feel the excitement.
The sun was shining bright and while the temperature was a little toasty, it was the perfect weather for a car show.
People from all over the State flocked to the event to see some of the most amazing cars and made the most of Queensland Raceway’s new shade and appreciated the addition of Gups cool down station.
As soon as the gates opened, the crowds poured in, eager to get a close look at the cars and chat with their owners as well as watch some of the toughest cars in Qld on track.
The atmosphere was electric, with music playing, vendors selling food and drinks, and car enthusiasts packed in.

Over the three days, Powercruise filled Queensland Raceway with excitement and awe.
There were classic cars, sports cars, hot rods, and even some rare rides on display including a half a million dollar McLaren.
There were even a few opportunities for visitors to be a passenger in the Powercruise Taxi hanging it around the track alongside the entrants.
The highlight of the event was definitely the $20,000 Burnout Competition with the winner taking home the cash and a Gold Ticket to Burnout Masters.
Dozens of cars entered the competition, each one more amazing than the last.
The judges had a tough time deciding which car was the best burnout as every one of them was well and truly on song, some more spectacular than others, not so much in style points but in wild flame shows from some of the heavy hitters like 2CRANKY and LUXIFER.

MISFIT was announced the winner early on Sunday and the crowd agreed. The car show was a huge success, and everyone bonded over their shared love of cars.
As the event came to a close, everyone left with a smile on their face and more than likely a solid tan with most already looking forward to next Powercruise Event.
