RIPLEY Valley State Secondary College is celebrating a significant achievement after Principal Brendan Krueger was presented with the prestigious Queensland Secondary Principals’ Association Community Leadership Award at the association’s annual awards dinner.

The award recognises exceptional leadership in fostering strong partnerships between schools and their wider communities, acknowledging principals who go above and beyond to create meaningful connections beyond the classroom.

Mr Krueger was recognised by his professional peers for the instrumental role he has played in establishing Ripley Valley State Secondary College as far more than a place of learning.

Under his leadership, the school has become a hub for connection, collaboration and community pride within one of Queensland’s fastest-growing regions.

Through a focus on building strong partnerships, creating shared community spaces, strengthening cultural connections, fostering local relationships and maintaining a clear vision for the future, Mr Krueger has helped position the college as a central pillar of the Ripley Valley community.

The recognition highlights the school’s ongoing commitment to ensuring students, families and community members feel connected and supported as the Ripley Valley continues to grow.

College staff said they were proud of Mr Krueger’s achievement, describing the award as recognition of his dedication to creating a school culture that extends beyond the school gates and into the broader community.
