Clare May Real Estate has joined forces with RSPCA to launch an innovative Adoption House, designed to transform how potential pet owners connect with animals in need of a home.

Previously, pets and adopters met in grassy spaces with limited shelter from our varied Queensland weather. The new Clare May Real Estate Adoption House offers a private, temperature-controlled space that ensures comfort for both parties, encouraging a calm and meaningful introduction.

Now open at RSPCA’s Wacol facility, the initiative aims to boost adoption rates by creating an environment where cats, dogs, birds, guinea pigs and smaller animals can feel secure, and prospective owners can get to know them without busy shelter distractions.

“We believe every pet deserves the best chance at a forever home,” said Clare May, owner of Clare May Real Estate. “This partnership is about creating that opportunity in the best way possible.”

RSPCA Queensland spokesperson Emma Lagoon echoed the sentiment, calling the project “a testament to positive community impact and improved pet adoption experiences”.

“We are sure that this new homely space made possible thanks to Clare May Real Estate will get the tick of approval with many waggy tails and be welcomed by prospective families.”

The public can look forward to a Family Fun Day and celebratory launch event hosted at RSPCA Wacol. For updates and more details, visit claremayrealestate.com.au or contact the team on 1300 305 630.
