IPSWICH motor racing talent Ryan Casha has announced his return to DNA Autosport for the 2025 Porsche Michelin Sprint Challenge Championship.

This marks a reunion with the team that played a key role in his success during the 2023 Toyota 86 Series, where he clinched the championship title.

“I’m eager to replicate that championship-winning feeling again in 2025,” Casha said.

Last year, Casha made a remarkable transition from a promising rookie to a formidable contender in the TCR Australia Series.

After securing the Toyota 86 Series title, the 20-year-old driver quickly made his mark in the TCR Australia Series.

He joined Garry Rogers Motorsport, where he impressed with a podium finish in just his second race at Sandown Raceway.

His breakthrough moment came at Queensland Raceway, where he dominated the second race after starting from pole, claiming his first TCR victory.

By the end of the season, Casha had firmly positioned himself as a title contender. His consistent podium finishes and one race win propelled him to sixth place in the championship standings, a commendable result for a rookie.

This achievement was made even more special for Casha, with team-mate Jordan Cox finishing fifth overall, just two points ahead.

The top six drivers were separated by just 60 points, highlighting the competitive nature of the series.

“Last year was a great experience for me, and to be able to learn off the likes of Aaron Cameron and find some success made it enjoyable,” he said.

“However, I felt like I needed a change heading into 2025, and DNA afforded me that option.”

Casha also expressed gratitude for his time at GRM, especially to engineer Timmi, who played a significant role in his development.

“I can’t thank Barry and Garry and the rest of the crew at GRM enough for what they did for me last year,” he said.

With the 2025 season on the horizon, Casha is focused on securing more victories.

“I’m more focused and prepared than ever to hunt those trophies down this season,” he said.

The first round of the Porsche Michelin Sprint Challenge Championship kicks off in April.
