Action is underway to finalise a new shopping centre in Springfield Lakes just 3.5kms from the bustling Orion Centre.

Springfield Grande, formally Springfield Lakes Shopping Village, will be located at 11 Grande Avenue.

Limbada Group secured the development project after the previous owner, Taree Property went into voluntary liquidation.

Limbarda is moving forward with the approved plans for the centre and hopes to commence work before the end of the year.

Tenants for Springfield Grande are expected to include a Drakes Supermarket, 7/11, Snap Fitness, Yiros Shop, Sushi Hyo and JAX Tyres Auto.

Plans for an auxiliary childcare centre are also still in the works.
