LOCAL police are urgently seeking public help in locating a number of vehicles and property recently reported as stolen across the region.

The thefts, which occurred from February 2-5, involve a variety of vehicles, trailers, and motorcycles.

Police are urging anyone who has seen these vehicles or has any information that could assist in locating them to contact the authorities immediately.

Residents are also reminded to stay vigilant and secure their vehicles and property to help prevent further thefts.

A police spokesperson emphasised the importance of securing vehicles.

“Car owners should ensure their vehicles are locked and secured at all times, with any valuables –including cash, electronics, and handbags – kept out of sight,” the spokesperson said.

“It’s also crucial to lock and secure garages, as items such as electrical equipment and ride-on mowers can be stolen, even while you are at home.”

There have also been reports of multiple power-assisted scooters and bicycles being stolen.
