IPSWICH Show Society pulled out all stops to mark their 150th Anniversary.
This year there were almost 500 entries across the Fine Arts, Photography and Art in Bark classes.
Judges Arthur Frame (Fine Arts), Amanda Waschevski (Photography) and Glen Smith (Art in Bark and Ceramics) were given a difficult task to select the winners of each category.
All judges commented that the work was of a high standard and picking just one winner was a difficult choice.
Artsconnect Ipswich and the Show Society collaborated to bring the Fine Arts Section back to its previous glory.
This year we saw a marked increase in entries from previous years and it’s hoped this trend will continue onto future years.
Ipswich has a vast and diverse art community and it was evident in the many varying views, styles and the diversity of the art .
The Junior section also had an impressive display of work and it’s great to see our young budding artists taking part.
