West Moreton Anglican College (WestMAC) has capped off an exceptional Cross Country season in The Associated Schools (TAS) competition, claiming multiple championship honours across the Junior and Senior TAS Cross Country Carnivals.
WestMAC’s junior athletes led the way at the Junior TAS Cross Country Carnival, where the college was crowned Overall Champion School.
The result was bolstered by a dominant performance from the girls’ team, who secured the title of Girls’ Aggregate Champion School after a series of strong individual and team results across all age groups.
The college’s success continued at the TAS Cross Country Carnival, with WestMAC’s boys producing an exceptional performance to be named Boys’ Aggregate Champion School.
Their determination, consistency and depth of talent were on full display throughout the event.
These achievements highlight the strength of WestMAC’s sporting program and reflect the dedication of its student athletes, coaches and wider school community.
“Students’ effort, determination and sportsmanship were outstanding and contributed to one of our strongest carnival performances in recent years,” WestMAC Head of Sport Rob Hillier said.
“We are incredibly proud of all students who represented the college and congratulate them on an outstanding competition.”
