The Brothers Leagues Club takes care of the environment in the kitchen and embraces sustainability in the process.

The Club prides themselves on their reputation for sustainable, quality food and process. In every step, from choice of product to the power it takes to make it, thought has been given on how to create the best quality meal.

For instance, all of the delicious beef offerings are locally sourced from Stanbroke, a family-owned integrated beef cattle company operating out of Queensland. Stanbroke have complete control and traceability of their beef, raising their cattle on lush, open pastures on their farms in the Gulf of Carpentaria.

And it doesn’t just stop at the beef. The Humpty Doo Barramundi is sourced from a 100 per cent Australian family-owned and operated farm located halfway between Darwin and Kakadu National Park and is BAP Certified (Best Aquaculture Practices). Additionally, they source Tassal Atlantic Salmon (Tasmania), who boast the lowest density levels globally, with salmon pens 33m long, contain 99 per cent water and only 1 per cent fish!

In particular, care is taken to realise the value and capacity in every item. This is best illustrated through the use of the organic pulped food waste which is recycled in the PulpMaster bio-digester and converted into both green electricity and fertiliser pellets.

Additionally, during the last 12 months, an impressive 39,200 litres were diverted from landfill using PulpMaster. This is equivalent to 584.7 trolleys of food saved from landfill each year and generates enough energy to power 53,849.9 dishwasher cycles each year.

In the same vein, Brothers Leagues Club uses eWater, an organic certified solution, hygiene that doesn’t cost the Earth! Onsite production reduces both harsh chemicals and endless single use plastic waste. eWater is a sustainable solution for our modern world and that’s why Brothers utilise it.
Great food and sustainability go hand-in-hand at Brothers Leagues Club.
