THE Blue Fin Fishing Club in Inala has brought the nostalgic Sunday roast into 2025 with a flavourful and exciting upgrade, now available daily as part of its newly completed renovations.

Far from the traditional “Grandma’s roast,” the club’s version offers a delicious and hearty meal both satisfying and affordable.

For less than $20 for members, the roast of the day is served with perfectly cooked meat – lamb was on the menu during our visit – accompanied by roast potatoes, pumpkin, seasonal vegetables, and generous portions of gravy.

A touch of mint jelly and a fresh dinner roll with butter complete the dish.

Prices are member-friendly, with a full-size roast at $19.90 for members ($24.90 for non-members) and a half-size option at $12.90 for members ($17.90 for non-members).

Memberships are attractively priced at $1 for one year or $2 for three years, providing significant savings.

The recent renovations, which include an upgraded bistro dining room and service area, also feature a standout addition: a rotisserie display.

Guests can watch their roast as it cooks, adding to the sensory experience.

The service and staff are great and they warmly welcome you the moment you walk through the doors.

Founded in 1956, the Blue Fin Fishing Club is approaching its 70th anniversary next year.

Originally established by a group of passionate fishermen, it has since evolved into a welcoming community hub, known for its value-for-money dining and friendly service.

Located at 24 Lilac St, Inala, the club is open daily from 10am-2am:

Lunch: Monday to Friday, 11.30am-2pm | Dinner: Monday to Friday, 5.30-8 pm | Saturday: 11.30am-8.30pm | Sunday: 11.30am -8pm
