Queensland’s rising motocross star, Jake Knighton, is making waves in the 2025 Honda Sunshine State MX Championship, now merged with the Queensland Titles.

This six-round series has drawn young riders from across Australia and New Zealand, elevating the competition to international level.

In just his third year of racing, Knighton is already showing he has what it takes. Competing in the 65cc 7-9 years category, he began with a determined fifth place finish at Round 1 in Kilcoy in late February, then came back strongly in Round 2 at Mundubbera, powering his way to third place.

With four rounds to go, Knighton is gearing up for the intense battles ahead – his focus is clear: stay consistent and fight for every point to remain in the title chase.

Once the Queensland series wraps up, he’ll turn his attention to the Australian Motocross Titles in South Australia.
