GREATER Springfield’s leading businesses, organisations and entrepreneurs have been recognised, with finalists announced for the 2026 Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce Business Awards ahead of next month’s gala presentation.
Winners will be crowned at the Chamber’s annual awards gala on Saturday, September 5, celebrating excellence across a broad range of industries, from professional services and education to health, hospitality and emerging businesses.
The prestigious Business of the Year Award, sponsored by Springfield City, will be contested by Creative Hearts Co., ETC – Employment and Training, and Wounded Heroes Australia.
The Business Person of the Year Award, sponsored by JET Team Finance, recognises outstanding leadership and entrepreneurship. Finalists are Che Fell from The Cafe Providence Ripley, Paula Rizqallah from P&L Accountants, and Petra King from Xperion – Proud to be boring accountants.
Competition for the Outstanding Small Business Award will see Frosteez Mobile Car Air Conditioning, Purple Bunny Marketing and YUSS – Your Unique Support Services vie for top honours, while the Emerging Business Award finalists are Imbibis Craft Distillery,
Literate Learners Tutoring and MN8 Wealth.
The Member’s Choice Award finalists are Creative Hearts Co., The Cafe Providence Ripley and YUSS – Your Unique Support Services.
In the Media & IT Award, finalists are Ipswich Tribune Today, Local Ipswich News and Purple Bunny Marketing.
Professional excellence will also be recognised, with Solid Start Learning Pathways, Xperion – Proud to be boring accountants, and Zest Mortgage Solutions shortlisted for the Professional Services Award.
The Education & Training Award finalists are ETC – Employment and Training, Hymba Yumba Independent School and The Springfield Anglican College.
In the Financial Services Award, finalists include Morgans Springfield/Ipswich, Wendy Super Accounting and Xperion – Proud to be boring accountants.
The Service Industries Award will be contested by Frosteez Mobile Car Air Conditioning, Imbibis Craft Distillery and The Coffee Club Orion Springfield.
The Health & Wellbeing Award finalists are APAR Hair Studio, Evie King and The Packed With Care Foundation, while the Best Customer Service Award finalists are Frosteez Mobile Car Air Conditioning, JET Team Finance, YUSS – Your Unique Support Services and Zest Mortgage Solutions.
Highlighting their strong contribution to the business community, Frosteez Mobile Car Air Conditioning, YUSS – Your Unique Support Services, Xperion – Proud to be boring accountants, Creative Hearts Co., Purple Bunny Marketing, Imbibis Craft Distillery and ETC – Employment and Training all secured finalist positions in more than one category.
