The first Lifeline Bookfest in three years attracted hundreds of locals looking for a bargain buy.

The event saw $33,000 flow to Lifeline to help with their invaluable services.

Evie and Ruby Molloy from Tivoli discovered some great books.

Judith Bietzel from Ebbw Vale and Drew O’Brien from Coalfalls were amongst the bargain hunters.

Andrew Gomez and Vanessa Rottstaedt bought a trolley load at the Bookfest.

Volunteers Dean Simmons, Ellen Harper and Tala Ahkiau helped Mark Denman from Woodend buy 29 books.
