OUR school has a rich and proud history of providing excellence in education for the students within Camira and surrounding suburbs.

The school sits within a bushland catchment and is accessible through two main entrances and is fortunate to have two large carparks supporting busy drop off and pick up times.

We have an enrolment of more than 700 students with an increasing demand for entry to the school.

Our school has a substantial connection to the local community through a comprehensive early year’s suite of programs.

Parents and children engage with our school directly through playgroup, KindyLinQ and the Camira Croclings Pre Prep program.

Key staff from the school also connect with local organisations such as kindergartens and Day Care facilities, community organisations and several high schools.

The connection with community is sustained well into the children starting school in Prep.

The Camira Croclings Pre Prep program offers children an opportunity to visit the school up to 16 times in the six months prior to starting formal schooling.

Parents are encouraged to become involved with an active and engaging P & C committee.

Many social and cultural events take place throughout the year and parents are encouraged to join in with the community events to strengthen their connection to their child’s educational journey and with the school community.

Camira SS is focused on High Impact Teaching – teaching that makes a difference.

Our teaching staff are dedicated to the strong focus on high quality teaching and learning whilst building positive relationships with their students.

We engage our learners through the delivery of a relevant, innovative, and purposeful curriculum.

Our students are motivated and engaged.

Finally, we focus on fostering collaborative cultures.

We know when we all work together we achieve great outcomes.
